That initial delivery in a series represents far more rather than just a single pitch.

It embodies a gut-wrenching two or four seconds of sheer drama, where every bit of the pre-series hype finally concludes.

"To set that tone throughout the entire series would prove truly remarkable," commented English bowler Gus Atkinson after questioned regarding the prospect this week.
