Jet Transporting US Defense Secretary Forced to Touch Down in UK Because of Crack in Windshield

A plane carrying the US defense secretary was compelled to make an emergency landing in the Britain on Wednesday following a fracture was discovered in the plane's windshield, according to an announcement which confirmed that the secretary was unharmed.

"The aircraft touched down in accordance with established safety measures and everyone onboard, such as Defense Secretary Hegseth, is unharmed," an official representative commented in a public statement.

The secretary was coming back from a short visit to the Belgian capital when the incident occurred.

This occurrence does not mark the first occasion that a US military aircraft carrying a top government figure has experienced technical problems.
